"Ip Tick" and Reindeer Cards

I NEED "ip tick"!!!!! Okay, okay... (I promise we didn't leave the house like this. Hee hee hee.)

Madeline spent a LONG time making cards for her friends at school. She did a fantastic job!

Aren't they a couple of really cute frogs?

In the end those frogs became a prince and princess. We loved watching The Princess and the Frog at the movie theater.

A New Haircut and Precious Angels

I got a new hair cut. Mom's not so sure about it, but at least hair doesn't get in my eyes when I put on my hat. I have also acquired a new interest in trains. Choo choo!

"Momma, I want to make angels. I need some rolls or tubes and white paper. Some scissors and googly eyes would be nice too. Ta-da! Evrit is the big one, and I am the little one." She really tried to make halos out of pipecleaners but couldn't get it to work out so I helped on that. Other than that, she came up with the idea and did the rest by herself. Great job, Madeline!

Making crowns to wear to see The Princess and the Frog ... and other crafty distractions - After all, it is TOO COLD to play outside.

"Hi" from "Eb-it and "Dar-dee" at the Dallas Arboretum.

We saw thousands of pumpkins, ...

... but were lots more interested in the birds.

I enjoy "tok-it mulk and wapples" for breakfast.

We enjoyed a short visit to the pumpkin patch just before the season ended. Aren't we cute!

Madeline helped me go through the hay maze because I was too young to do it by myself.

Investigating a Ladybug - Both kids were doing just fine until the ladybug's wings fluttered just a bit. Madeline screeched and both kids jumped back in opposite directions. The ladybug landed on the sidewalk probably a little dazed and confused.
