Boating Fun

While riding on the boat, Madeline enjoyed pretending to fly with Daddy. (Crazy kids) She also had fun driving the boat with G-Daddy.

Evrit liked driving too, but when it wasn't his turn, he preferred dragging his hand ... or hair ... in the water.

We spent the weekend in Elkhart with the grandparents. We even helped G-Daddy get started on a boat house. The victory laps in the evening were one

First Day of Kindergarten - I was very excited! I got up all by myself to my own alarm. I was dressed in no time. Mom packed my lunch and fixed some waffles for breakfast.

Mom, Dad, and Evrit drove me to school. We loaded the car and were on our way.

I walked with Dad, and Evrit walked with Mom.

Ms. Davis was happy to greet me at the door. I can't wait to make new friends and learn lots of new things. I am going to be the smartest one! (Best wishes to you, Madeline! Love, Mom.)

Playing in the Wad-dee

I LOVED playing in the water!  Sometimes I played with a float and other times on my own.  I was one of the first in and last out of the flowing water.

I rode in an inflatable boat with Dad holding on to the rope.  I fussed any time he let go or even got too far away.  We played on the rocks some too.  I was not as interested in the water as was Madeline.  ("boat", "Dad", "wad-dee" - This is Evrit's description of the days' events.)

Playing Outside

I love riding on the 3-wheeler and Malcolm loves the skateboards.  We enjoy our time playing outside.

What form!  If only he could connect...  However, he LOVES trying and chasing the balls.
