Momma ~ I just wanted to pour myself some Tang. This pouring thing is tougher than it looks.
Uh-oh... (I love strawberries.)

Father and Son
Look at this HUGE ball I found.
Go Madeline! This is so exciting I have trouble staying in my seat. I want to play so badly.
We went to the zoo with friends. Mom was too busy visiting to take many pictures, but she caught us in the stagecoach. We had a good day!
Look at me go!!! Madeline played a FABULOUS game of soccer this past weekend scoring 3 goals and dribbling the ball from one end of the field to the other. Let's hope this weekend is more of the same.
Well, somehow I let the end of September slip away without sending out pictures. Time continues to fly by! Madeline started a preschool program which she attends three days per week. She LOVES it! Madeline along with Malcolm's help, decided that she wanted to move to the top bunk and share a bedroom with Malcolm. One afternoon the two of them moved all her most prized possessions to her "new" room. This new arrangement has worked out surprisingly well. Saturday mornings are now consumed with soccer. Madeline continues to dominate in size but not so much in her "game" because she says she does not want to hurt anyone. :-) Finally, the big news from Madeline is that she is now able to ride her bicycle with NO training wheels!!! Yea Madeline!Malcolm is getting settled in his new school, an intermediate school for 5th and 6th graders. We hear that he is going to start some guitar lessons at school soon. Texas Tech is growing on Kendrick who STILL does not have a roommate and is starting to like it. From what he tells us, classes are going well and he is adjusting to college life.Evrit continues to acquire new skills. He has incredible upper body strength and loves to climb. He quietly moves around and gets into things - devious little guy! Talking is still not a priority for him, but there are no concerns about his abilities. He watches everything and repeats much of the things he sees, and he can listen and follow simple instructions. I marvel at how quickly these little ones learn! He still LOVES balls, and I envision many sporting events in our future!Enjoy the photos!MelissaHere she is ... ready for her first day of Pre-K! She was up and READY to go this morning. She helped me pack her lunch. While I was getting dressed she found a sticker for me. I know she cannot read, but she was able to pick out the perfect sticker for me that read "Thinking of You". When we arrived at school, I parked the van. We got out and Madeline said to me, "Give me a kiss!" I did and we went to find her class. She walked right in with such confidence. With each new step my little girl is growing up ... and I am so proud!Brotherly LoveI found the leftover corn in the fridge ... Sneaky!Go TigerCats! Madeline's team is ready for their first game on Saturday. It should be interesting... (Notice Evrit on the right corner. It is going to be a challenge to keep him off the field.)Guess who's riding her bicycle with NO training wheels!!
We went to a totally 80's birthday party, and Madeline had a great costume. She had lots of fun at the party playing with friends ... and then she CRASHED! ...
... as did Evrit!
Go Madeline GO!!! Madeline played a FANTASTIC game of soccer last Saturday. We are looking forward to another great game this weekend.
I required a little distraction and incentive to stay off of the playing field.
We made dog houses. We had to make two because ...
... this is how Madeline likes her house ...
... and this is how I like mine.
I enjoy cleaning (hands, grocery cart, floor, etc.) with wet wipes.
And I LOVE my new shoes with BALLS on them!
What Madeline doesn't know won't hurt her ....
I LOVE shooting the dart guns! I know how to load them, but I am not yet strong enough to get them cocked. Just means I am shooting at short range. ;-)
