I enjoy riding my bicycle. Will you watch me? :-)
Never mind me .... I'm not doing anything. ;-)
A collection of pictures e-mailed to friends and family daily and monthly.
Well, somehow I let the end of September slip away without sending out pictures. Time continues to fly by! Madeline started a preschool program which she attends three days per week. She LOVES it! Madeline along with Malcolm's help, decided that she wanted to move to the top bunk and share a bedroom with Malcolm. One afternoon the two of them moved all her most prized possessions to her "new" room. This new arrangement has worked out surprisingly well. Saturday mornings are now consumed with soccer. Madeline continues to dominate in size but not so much in her "game" because she says she does not want to hurt anyone. :-) Finally, the big news from Madeline is that she is now able to ride her bicycle with NO training wheels!!! Yea Madeline!Malcolm is getting settled in his new school, an intermediate school for 5th and 6th graders. We hear that he is going to start some guitar lessons at school soon. Texas Tech is growing on Kendrick who STILL does not have a roommate and is starting to like it. From what he tells us, classes are going well and he is adjusting to college life.Evrit continues to acquire new skills. He has incredible upper body strength and loves to climb. He quietly moves around and gets into things - devious little guy! Talking is still not a priority for him, but there are no concerns about his abilities. He watches everything and repeats much of the things he sees, and he can listen and follow simple instructions. I marvel at how quickly these little ones learn! He still LOVES balls, and I envision many sporting events in our future!Enjoy the photos!MelissaHere she is ... ready for her first day of Pre-K! She was up and READY to go this morning. She helped me pack her lunch. While I was getting dressed she found a sticker for me. I know she cannot read, but she was able to pick out the perfect sticker for me that read "Thinking of You". When we arrived at school, I parked the van. We got out and Madeline said to me, "Give me a kiss!" I did and we went to find her class. She walked right in with such confidence. With each new step my little girl is growing up ... and I am so proud!Brotherly LoveI found the leftover corn in the fridge ... Sneaky!Go TigerCats! Madeline's team is ready for their first game on Saturday. It should be interesting... (Notice Evrit on the right corner. It is going to be a challenge to keep him off the field.)Guess who's riding her bicycle with NO training wheels!!
We went to a totally 80's birthday party, and Madeline had a great costume. She had lots of fun at the party playing with friends ... and then she CRASHED! ...
... as did Evrit!
Go Madeline GO!!! Madeline played a FANTASTIC game of soccer last Saturday. We are looking forward to another great game this weekend.
I required a little distraction and incentive to stay off of the playing field.
We made dog houses. We had to make two because ...
... this is how Madeline likes her house ...
... and this is how I like mine.
I enjoy cleaning (hands, grocery cart, floor, etc.) with wet wipes.
And I LOVE my new shoes with BALLS on them!
What Madeline doesn't know won't hurt her ....
I LOVE shooting the dart guns! I know how to load them, but I am not yet strong enough to get them cocked. Just means I am shooting at short range. ;-)
I had a delicious turkey sandwich (with butter) for lunch.
I enjoyed a turkey sandwich too, but mine had Miracle Whip on it.
Relaxing after some play and a small knee injury (from bicycle riding of course)
Are you okay??? You ALWAYS cheese for pictures.
Oh well. Check out my eyes - ICY BLUE!
Madeline: Do you think the wasps will come get us over here?
Malcolm: Nah - Daddy is spraying them so they won't be going anywhere.
Look at me! (Nope - This is not how I got the busted lip.)

My first soccer game as a Tigercat - Does my hair look okay? I don't want it getting too puffy.
Daddy had to entertain and hold me a good safe distance from the field because I really wanted to play.
I am a serious toothbrusher. I demand my toothbrush whenever anyone else is brushing as well as when I get the urge myself.
I did not want to brush on this day, but I refused to let Momma take my picture while I was fussing. So here is my HUGE grin!
I have my ball and am READY to PLAY!!!
Go Madeline! You were actually getting after it tonight. Good job!
I was assigned to keep Gabby on the field. She just turned 3, is not really interested in soccer, and kept wandering off. (Her mom was busy will her baby sister and unable to keep chasing her.)
Go TigerCats! Madeline's team is ready for their first game on Saturday. It should be interesting... (Notice Evrit on the right corner. It is going to be a challenge to keep him off the field.)
I found the leftover corn in the fridge ... Sneaky!
(Can't you hear the hula music playing??)
I painted several beautiful pictures this weekend.
It's just that easy!
