Groceries and Silly kids with Slinkies

"Evrit, you brought in the groceries, but where did you put them?" Here they are, Mom! (He said this with a disgusted tone to his voice as if I was so silly for not being able to find the animal crackers and bandages in the refrigerator.)

A little sibling wrestling started out as fun but didn't end so well (as often these things don't).

A little wrestling ...

... started out as fun between siblings.

However, let's just say it did not end well.

Soccer Practice was GREAT this Week

At soccer practice, I was a shark, and my job was to kick other people's balls away. I did very well at this game.

Do you believe it?! I actually ran and played soccer with my team at practice this week. And I was the only person on my team to score a goal. Woohoo! (Momma is so proud!)

Sad Soccer Face

I know this isn't a great picture, but it captures his current soccer game face. Saturday, he told me he was too sleepy to play. I didn't get any pictures of Madeline because I had a kickball game at the same time. However, I hear she did GREAT!

Madeline's First Soccer Game of the Season - Go Blue Rangers!

Way to go, Madeline. Kick that ball.

And there she is at goalie. She did such a great job whatever position she was playing.

Go Blue Rangers!

Evrit's VERY FIRST Soccer Game

Ready for some soccer!!! The season got underway this weekend. Evrit played in his first game ... Well, he was really more of a spectator. Turn around buddy. The ball is RIGHT THERE.

He was far more comfortable playing on the sidelines with Uncle Lee.

Soccer Practice for the Fall Season got off to a Grand Start

Madeline had a really great soccer practice this week. She got out there and worked hard ... and I think she even had fun. Go Blue Rangers!

Evrit had his soccer practice this week too. He did a good job listening and following instructions.

And I KNOW he had a good time. He loves that he is playing "sock-ball" on a "team" and will have "games". Go Tigers!

Boating Fun

While riding on the boat, Madeline enjoyed pretending to fly with Daddy. (Crazy kids) She also had fun driving the boat with G-Daddy.

Evrit liked driving too, but when it wasn't his turn, he preferred dragging his hand ... or hair ... in the water.

Evrit's New School

Evrit met with his new teachers, Ms. Anneke and Ms. Mildred, on Friday and was able to look around his new classroom.

I think he is going to like the playtime best.

He definitely thinks he is a "big kid" now and is ready for a booster seat like Madeline's. A few more months, little one...

Evrit with Skateboard Safety and Stunts

Practicing a little safety - This buckle isn't easy to fasten.

"Flip ober" - Evrit is trying to flip his skateboard over.

"Ah Man! Flip it ober, skateboard."

The Ball Player

Swing, Batter, Batter!

Or is he a conked out tennis player? (As long as there is a ball, he is ready to play!)

More Evrit

"Jup oba" (jump over) Evrit has been watching Malcolm do skateboard tricks and is now trying tricks of his own.

Evrit ate some cookies and cream ice cream and then fell asleep. His face makes me think he has been eating dirt. Sweet sleeping baby (even when dirty).

Evrit

See my shiner? Malcolm elbowed me in the face Friday night. It is now Monday morning, and the bruise is really showing up (even though the picture does not seem to do it justice). I was very tough through the experience.

Momma asked, "What does your shirt say, Evrit?" I replied, "Daddy love ME!"
