The dress-up games continue. The girls dress a put on plays for us. They love to have their pictures taken. On this day, Evrit was playing along as well. They do a good job including him.

Sibling Style Show

Madeline wanted a new hat when we went school shopping even though she cannot wear hats to school. She tried on every hat in the store and was very serious about making her selection. Here she is cooking up some dinner with her hat and some attitude. Everyone needs a hat to play. We have been very excited to have Hannah back in town. She was not home most of the summer. Now Hannah and Madeline attend the same school, and they have played together every day after school.

First Day of Kindergarten - I was very excited! I got up all by myself to my own alarm. I was dressed in no time. Mom packed my lunch and fixed some waffles for breakfast.

Mom, Dad, and Evrit drove me to school. We loaded the car and were on our way.

I walked with Dad, and Evrit walked with Mom.

Ms. Davis was happy to greet me at the door. I can't wait to make new friends and learn lots of new things. I am going to be the smartest one! (Best wishes to you, Madeline! Love, Mom.)

Madeline and Malcolm participated in a tennis camp this week. Malcolm won the Game Day Trophy. Both kids had a good time and improved their tennis game.

We went to the circus last night and had a FABULOUS time!!! What clowns!

A Madeline Original & Evrit Cuts

With all of the crafting going on, Evrit wanted to try his hand at cutting. It was such a thrill for him! He laughed uncontrollably with each snip of the scissors.

We could not figure out which hand was more comfortable for him. He did a decent job with each.

Swimming Kids

Look at that girl swim! What form. What grace. Now if she could only figure out a more graceful way to breathe... Anyway, she was able to swim the length of the pool and has been moved into the Level 3 swim class. Way to go, my swim girl!

She isn't the only swimmer in the family. Evrit has been moved into the preschool class. Here he is showing off his amazing bubble blowing. He is a bit more timid with his teachers, but don't let that fool you. He is fearless when it comes to the water!

Next we moved to the bikes on the ramps. We had a good time, and luckily, no one was injured.

A New Do for Tennis

I braided Madeline's hair. She was so patient and loves her new do! In fact, the braids still look pretty good after tennis, swimming, baseball, bathing, sleeping, tennis, and swimming AGAIN! I cannot believe it! We will be taking it out tonight though ... promise. :-)
